I know what it feels like to arrive in Israel and face a system that seems designed to confuse you. When I first moved to Israel, I experienced firsthand the frustration of trying to understand a financial system in a new language, with different rules, and nobody who could explain it clearly in English.

That experience became the foundation of my career. I made it my mission to become the person I wished I had when I was navigating the Israeli mortgage market for the first time, someone who speaks your language, understands your background, and genuinely has your best interests at heart.

Over the years, I have built deep relationships with every major bank in Israel. I know the mortgage managers personally. I know which bank is offering the best rates this month, which ones are flexible on documentation for foreign income, and which ones have the fastest approval processes. This insider knowledge is something you simply cannot get by walking into a branch on your own.

Elie Levi Mortgages is not a big corporation, and that is by design. I believe that mortgage consulting is a deeply personal service. Every family has a different financial situation, different goals, different risk tolerance, and different timelines. A one-size-fits-all approach does not work.

When you work with me, you work with me directly. Not an assistant, not a junior associate, not a call center. I personally review your finances, I personally negotiate with the banks, and I personally walk you through every decision. I have helped families from all backgrounds, olim from the US, UK, Canada, South Africa, and France; foreign buyers investing in Israeli real estate; Israeli expats returning home; and long-time residents looking to refinance. No two cases have been identical, and that experience across such a wide range of situations is what allows me to find creative solutions that other advisors miss.

The Israeli mortgage market is not particularly transparent. Banks do not make it easy to compare offers. The track system is confusing for newcomers. And the stakes are enormous, a poorly structured mortgage can cost a family hundreds of thousands of shekels over its lifetime.

I believe every English-speaking buyer in Israel deserves access to the same quality of advice and the same negotiating power that Hebrew-speaking insiders take for granted. That is the gap I fill.
